Milana Mikhalevich: A man who detained Barbarych did not introduce himself
A journalist Henadz Barbarych was detained in the club named after Dziarzhynski. He was taking interviews of the prisoners' wives in the KGB detention center. They brought pacels but were sent to the club to wait and execute papers from the admission bureau.
Milana Mikhalevich, the wife of the political prisoner Ales Mikhalevich, was there and witnessed Barbarych's detention:"Mr. Henadz went there to talk, he was standing aside talking to someone. There were, I think, five of us altogether. A man approached Barbarych, showed no documents and asked "who he is and on which grounds he is taking interviews". He answered he did not take any interviews, he was just talking to people".After this the unknown man took Barbarych's passport and said "Let's go". He led the journalist to the admission bureau. When the women tried to find out who detained Henadz Barbarych, they were told to "mind their own business".
