Milinkevich meets French president
The leader of For Freedom movement, Alexander Milinkevich, on May 9 met with French President Nicolas Sarcozy in Paris. The press office of Alexander Milinkevich notes that this is not the first meeting between Belarus's former presidential candidate and the president of France. Alexander Milinkevich met with Sarcozy in the fall of 2006 when the latter served as France's Interior Minister. Nicolas Sarcozy have always expressed the need to support pro-democracy forces in Belarus.
