Minimum living budget over Br240K in Belarus
The government of Belarus has approved the minimum living budget per capita in the costs of March 2009. The official news agency Belta reports this indicator will be effective from May through July 31, 2009. The minimum living budget is valued at Br243,570 ( from February 1 through April 30, this normative was valued at Br234,370).
The major expenditures in the minimum living basket include foodstuffs (54.2 percent), housing and utilities bills (17.3 percent), clothing and footwear (16.3 percent), household and transport services (6.5 percent), durable products (3.2 percent), fees and duties (0.4 percent), medicines (2.1 percent).
