Minsk population has increased, there are 1 million 809 thousand people now

The number of Minsk inhabitants is increasing. 1 million 809 thousand people live in the capital now. 16 thousand people were born and 14 thousands died during 10 months of this year. The dynamics were negative five years ago. In spite of the fact that 109 boys are born for every 100 girls, men’s death-rate is higher.

As a result, 1160 women are counted for ever 1000 men in Minsk today, reports the agency “Minsk-naviny”.
