Minsk “Yunatstva” takes second position in Continental Cup super final
Hockey players of Minsk ‘Yunatstva” have taken the second position in the final table of the Continental Cup super final. The tournament took place in Grenoble, France, on January 15-17, reminds BelaPAN. “Yunatstva” defeated English “Sheffield” on the final day of the tournament – 4:1 while Austrian “Red Bull” who had gained a trophy ahead of time defeated “Grenoble” (9:4).
The final result (after three tours) is: “Red Bull” – 9 points (goal difference 20-8), “Yunatstva” – 4 (9-9), “Sheffield” – 3 (7-12), “Grenoble” – 2 (9-16).
“Yunatstva” got defeated by “Red Bull” in the starting match – 3:5, and by “Grenoble” after penalty shots in the second match – 2:3.
"Yunatstva" won the continental Cup in 2007.
