Miron conducts action in honour of Karatkevich in Vitsebsk
A white-red-white flag appeared on one of the buildings of Masherau Vitsebsk University on the evening of November 25. The university is situated near a monument to Uladzimir Karatkevich. It was attached to construction facilities.
A famous Vitsebsk opposition member Barys Hamaida explained ERB that Miron dated the action for Uladzimir Karatkevich’s birthday.
Barys Hamaida: “Reliable sources informed that a tablet with the inscription “for the birthday of the sorcerer of the Belarusian language Uladzimir Karatkevich. Christ landed in Vitsebsk”. And there was a signature – Miron.
The flag stayed there for only 15 minutes. Several police cars arrived on the spot. Policemen had to climb the building several times before they managed to take the flag away.
