Missing shareholders of “Beltranzgaz” defraud “Gazprom”

The deputy Minister of Economy of Belarus Andrei Tur mentioned the idea that it would be impossible to divide the shares of “Beltransgaz” into equal parts between Belarus and Russia. He claimed it in his interview given to a Russian newspaper “Moskovskie Novosti”. According to him, there are some individual shareholders who are … missing. So a situation when one of the countries may acquire a hundredth or a thousandth more may arise.

According to the deputy Minister, it will no longer be a par of stock. Moreover, Andrei Tur thinks that Belarus will increase the cost of Russian gas transit in the future.
