Moldova bans import of Belarusian meat

Moldova has banned the import of meat and domestic animals from Russia and its neighbouring countries including Belarus. The reason for it was the desire to prevent the distribution of a dangerous virus found in animals – “African plague”.
Charter-97 informs that the dangerous disease was registered in Stavopolski Region of Russia. It is noted that “African plague” is extremely dangerous for pig-breeding. The ban will be lifted when the pesthole is liquidated.
