Monument in memory of victims of Stalinism raised in Kurapaty
A monument to Stalinism victims has been raised in the forest of Kurapaty in the outskirts of Minsk. A candidate of history Ihar Kuznyatsou has informed about it.
According to him, the memorial is a former foundation stone. The text on the metallic plate that disappeared in autumn 2005 and was restored by the public this autumn says that a monument to victims of Stalin’s repressions of 1937-1940 will be erected there according to the regulation of the BSSR Soviet of Ministers of January 18, 1989.
