Monument to Uladzimir Karatkevich to be errected in Minsk
A monument to Belarusian literature legend Uladzimir Karatkevich will be unveiled in Minsk in 2010 or 2011, in the framework of preparations to celebrate 80 years since his birthday, reports Belapan. The plan, approved by culture minister Pavel Latushka, nontes that the monument's construction will be funded by the national and local budgets. The Ministry of Culture and Minsk City Hall are responsible for implementing the project.
