Monuments to the pilots who died in Poland are placed in Baranavichy
The monuments to the pilots who died last year in Poland were placed in Baranavichy. Let us remind you, that the Belarusians Aliaksandr Marfitski and Aliaksandr Zhuraulevich diverted the plane SU-27 which was loosing height, away from residential buildings, during the international avia-show in Radam. The pilots lost their lives.
A mass dedicated to the deceased pilots was conducted at one of the Orthodox churches of Baranavichy, and the mourning ceremony took place at the cemetery where the granite monuments had been placed.
As it was reminded by the STV TV-Channel, a monument had also been opened this Spring at the place of the tragedy in Poland.
