More than 700 draft dodgers in Vitsyebsk region
The Vitsyebsk Regional Military Registration Office still searches for 734 conscription-age youths who failed to report for military serive this year. Of more than 21,000 conscription-age youths in the region, 1,200 dodged draft during the April-September call-up. About 140 were brought to enlistment offices by police. The military registration office asked prosecutors to bring draft-dodging charges against 93 people. Forty-four men were fined for failure to appear on summons, BelTA reported.
