Mortar shell found near railway in Shumilin District

A mortar shell dating back to the last war has been found by local inhabitants not far from the railway in Shumilin District. Policemen, rescuers and miners arrived on the dangerous spot. According to “Zvyazda” newspaper, a lot of electric trains pass the spot every day. One more mortar bomb has been found during construction works near Starabarysau sanatorium boarding school. All children, teachers and workers had to be evacuated with expedition. However, miners revealed that it was not a live bomb, informs “SB”.
