Most unemployed men in Minsk are former prisoners
Most jobless men in Minsk have been recently released from prisons.
The recent amnesty has greatly contributed to unemployment in the Belarusian capital, reports Mansk Naviny. The former prisoners are required to register with the local employment centers and prove to the police that they are indeed looking for a job.
Few come back to the center after registration. But those who do are normally proposed to train as construction workers.
