Mother feeds children on mercury pasta
An inhabitant of the village of Vyarhouye, Beshankovichy District, suddenly noticed mercury in the plate of pasta cooked for dinner.
Her children, pupils of the local school, had already eaten their dinner. The worried mother called an ambulance. Specialists conducted demercuration.
The children were taken to hospital. Fortunately, doctors found no signs of poisoning in them. The woman recalled that she had lost her thermometer in spring.
