MTZ-RIPA to play in Commonwealth Champions Cup quarter final
Minsk MTZ-RIPA has made it to the quarter final of “The Champions Cup of CIS and Baltic states” in Moscow. The team of Yury Puntus defeated Turkmen “Ashkhabad” in the second tour - 4:0. The goals were scored by Syavolin (2), Sashcheka and Kamar.
Lithuanian “Ekranas” defeated the Russian junior team playing hors concours in another match of the group – 1:0. Thus, Lithuanians have 6 points, Belarusians – 3, Russians and Turkmen – 1. Let us remind you that MTZ-RIPA lost to “Ekranas” in the starting match – 0:2.
Minskers will compete with the Russian junior team on January 20 and with Kazakh “Aktobe” or Tashkent “Pahtakor” in the quarter final on January 21.
