Muscovite steals 4 million dollars from Belarusian Army
The Russian police and their Belarusian colleagues have arrested a 39-year-old Moscow businessman Ilya Kulagin. He is suspected of stealing almost 4 million USD from the Belarusian Army. According to the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affaires, the detained signed a contract according to which he was to supply diesel oil to the army for almost 100 million Russian rubles.
However, the swindler disappeared together with the money. A criminal case according to the article on swindle and money-laundering was started against him in 2006. Russia is considering the necessity of extradition of the suspect now.
