New head of BSDP (Hramada) says dissent is impossible

According to Anatol Sidarevich, the former party leader Anatol Layukovich is unlikely to split social democrats. The newly elected leader has informed ERB about it.
Sidarevich: "No, I am not afraid of another dissent in the social-democratic party. I came to the conclusion watching the behaviour of participants of the congress. Mr. Lyaukovich’s demarche caused… Well, you had to be present there and see how members who were at the congress reacted to it”.

By the way, the new head has claimed that he would not mind if Anatol Lyaukovich created his own faction in the party.

Let us remind you that the social-democratic party used to split after every election of its new leader. As a result, there are about half a dozen social-democratic parties in the country acting legally and as part of steering committees.
