New Polish Ambassador to arrive in Belarus in autumn

A new Polish Ambassador will arrive in Belarus in autumn. The position of the Polish Ambassador has been vacant since April. Henrik Litvin took the position of Andrzej Kremer who died near Smolensk after the crash of the plane of the Polish President Lech Kaczyński. A new Ambassador will head the Polish Embassy to Minsk only in autumn, informs Radio Liberty referring to the senior secretary of the Polish Embassy Pavel Marchuk.

Pavel Marchuk says: “There is a candidate for the position and the approximate date of the arrival of the new Ambassador has been appointed. However, I cannot announce his name before an official communiqué”.  

Advisor Vitald Yurash is the acting Ambassador at the moment.
