New uniform for Belarus police
The Belarus policemen will soon change their uniform, Interior Minister Uladzimir Navumaw said today during an on-line conference at the National TV and Radio Company.
He noted that "representatives of other countries" would repeatedly point out that a Belarusian policemen could hardly be differentiated by their appearance from those in Russia or Armenia.
"We want to change the uniform but in a such way that we would have not have to change it again in the future", Navumaw said. Designers are currently working on new samples. Afterwards, Interior Ministry would turn for comments to the public, he added.
He would not elaborate on the time frame of this project.
