Nigel Gould-Davies appointed as British ambassador in Minsk

Nigel Gould-Davies has been appointed as the British ambassador to Belarus. Previously, he served as the head of the mission at the British embassy in Minsk. Nigel Gould-Davies said in an interviewn with Belapan that he had fallen in love with Belarus over the past several months.

Earlier, he served as the first secretary in charge of economic affairs at the British embassy in Moscow. Nigel Gould-Davies arrived in Minsk in late August 2007.
