No injuries in Minsk dormitory blaze

Fire broke out at a dormitory belonging to the Belarusian Medical University in Minsk. After an automatic fire alarm set off, up to 100 students were evacuated from the building. Two students -- the nationals of Nigeria and Iran -- were removed from a locked room by rescuers.

Preliminary reports suggest that the blaze was caused by a short curcuit from a radio left on a bed. Experts are trying to identify the exact cause of the fire, writes newspaper Respublika.
