Number of fake euro notes down over six months
387,000 forged euro banknotes were confiscated in the first half of 2010, reports lenta.ru.
The figure is 13 percent down against the same period last year. 20 and 50 euro notes are the most popular fakes. Specialists note the percent of fake euros is low, as 13.2 billion euro notes were in circulation in the first six months of 2010.
