Nyaklyayeu expects more interest from EU on Belarus elections

Potential presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyaeu expects the visit of Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski to generate a greater interest towards Belarus in the European Union ahead of elections. The potential contender expressed hope that Sikorski's visit would be just a beginning and that a real dialogue on how EU could now help Belarus would be possible.

Sikorski is planned to visit Belarus in early November, reports Belapan. However, neither of the two countries has confirmed the visit yet.
