Official predicts high voter turnout at Belarus elections
Over 80 percent of citizens are going to take part in the parliamentary elections, Aleh Praliaskouski, Director of the Analytical Center at the Office of the Belarusian President, told the official news agency BELTA. Answering to the question: "Will you take part in the upcoming parliamentary elections on September 28?", 58.2 percent gave an affirmative answer. 21.8 percent said they would rather participate than not participate. 4.1 percent said "no", and 4.2 percent said "rather not". The rest of the respondents were unsettled.
