Oil found in Afghanistan

An oilfield has been discovered in northern Afghanistan. Its volume is about 1.8 billion barrels reports Radio Liberty. The oilfield was discovered when Afghan and international specialists were conducting geological work there.
The Afghan authorities claimed that the cost of the country’s natural resources including untouched oilfields, gas resources, gold and copper is about three trillion dollars.
