Oldest library in Belarus celebrates 180th anniversary

Hrodna regional library is going to release its readers' debts on books on the occasion of the festive date. Only on September 15 it will be possible to return an overdue book without paying a fine. Literary evenings, exhibitions and informational hours will last the whole week long. On September 16 scientists from Belarus, Poland and Russia will get together at the international conference "Public library in the context of sociocultural field of the region", informs the library's official web-site.

Hrodna regional library named after Yefim Karski was founded on September 17, 1830.
