Opera on open-air stage in Vitsebsk
Opera will be staged for the first time at the Summer Amphitheater in Vitsebsk on June 4, when the National Academic Grand Opera Theater of Belarus will perform on the city's main stage. The theater is visiting Vitsebsk in the framework of the tour devoted to mark 75 years since foundation. The theater will perform Carmen directed by Margaryta Izvorskaya-Elizaryeva.
Belapan reports that Carmen's full version will be shown, with over 200 actors participating as well as special effects and decorations. Tickets cost between Br 3000 and Br 12,000 ($1.5-6).
