Opposition activist in Baranavichy fired from work
The administration of a train depot in Baranavichy terminated a labor contract with Ryhor Hryk, an activist with Movement for Freedom.
He received a written notice about resignation due to the expired contract.
The activist has warnings about the termination of a labor contract for the third time in the past two years. First time he was fired from the Baranavichy cotton factory after 17 years of immacuble work for running for a seat in the parliament on behalf of the opposition.
Ryhor Hryk also took part in the March 25, 2010 local elections. He wrote complaints to the office of the prosecutor and the chairman of the Central Elections Commission against falsification of the local elections by the city territorial electoral commission.
