Opposition members detained in Minsk for action in support of political prisoners

Youth leaders Yauhen Afnahel and Maxim Vinyarski were detained on the evening of September 21 for conducting an action of solidarity with political prisoners, reports “Charter-97”.
About 10 people with portraits of Mikalai Autuhovich, Uladzimir Asipenka and Arstyom Dubksi appeared in Yakub Kolas Square. The action lasted for 20 minutes.
When its participants started leaving, policemen detained Afnahel and Vinyarksi. They were delivered to Soviet District Department of the Interior.

Afnahel was let off late in the evening without any protocol. Vinyarski was accused of having violated the terms of organization of mass actions and spent the night in prison. He will stand trial in Soviet District Court today.
