Opposition parties nominate 33 deputy contenders
Only 33 representatives of opposition political parties have presented documents needed for the registration of the House of Representatives deputy contenders. The secretary of the Central Election Commission Mikalai Lazavik has informed ERB about it. According to him, representatives of 59 parties have presented documents needed for the registration. “There are 5 representatives of the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Hramada), 1 representative of the Conservative Christian party of BNF, 12 representatives of the United Civil Party, 1 contender nominated by the Belarusian Social-Democratic Hramada and 7 representatives of the Communist Party of Belarus”.
14 people have been nominated by the Communist Party, 7 – by the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, 4 – by the Republican Labour and Justice Party and 1 – by the Republican Party.
Mikalai Lazavik has noted that 4 people have been nominated with the help of all possible ways: by their parties, collection of signatures and work groups. 25 people were nominated by their parties and with the help of signature collection and 30 – by their parties.
14 people have been nominated by the Communist Party, 7 – by the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, 4 – by the Republican Labour and Justice Party and 1 – by the Republican Party.
