OSCE experts finish studying materials of Byabenin’s case
Two OSCE experts – representatives of Sweden and Norway – have finished studying materials concerning the death of journalist Aleh Byabenin, reports BelTA referring to the Belarusian Central Office of the Public Prosecutor. The experts arrived in Minsk on October 25.They contacted relatives and friends of the decedent and visited the incident spot in Dzyarzhynsk District. They studied the materials of the case translated into English. They did not demand any additional materials from the Office of the Public Prosecutor. The experts will probable leave Belarus today.
Aleh Byabenin was found hanged in his summer house in Dzyarzhynsk District on September 3. According to the expertise, the journalist committed suicide. At the same time the police are conducting a check-up to find out the other circumstances of the incident.
