PACE urges Belarus to impose moratorium on death penalty

The Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly is urging Belarus to impose a moratorium on death penalty as soon as possible. It is said in the resolution adopted after the report about abuse in the system of legal justice in Belarus was discussed.

Furthermore, PACE is urging to abolish the article of the Belarusian Criminal Code according to which people can be prosecuted for acting on behalf of unregistered organizations.
