Palesse traditions studied in German language in Pinsk
A German teacher Tim Hindelbrandt has been working on probation for three months in a Pinsk grammar school #2. The German language is studied on an advanced level there.
The German guest initiated pupils to direct theatrical performances about Palesse traditions. Easter, Kolyada, Christmas and Radonitsa rites were presented in German.
Naturally, children had to study the traditions at first. They met students of local lore and visited the museum. It turned out that the German language helped young Pinskers look back at their origin.
The videos will be shown in German educational institutions.
