Parliamentarians to approve budget statement 2009 today
The Belarusian House of Representatives will discuss the republican budget statement 2009 in its second reading and its concomitant project on tax legislation alteration on October 9, reports “Interfax”.
The project was adopted by the House of Representatives in its first reading on October 2. The budget was created on the basis of the GDP growth of 10% expected by the Ministry of Finance in 2009, the expected inflation of 9-11% and the increase of gas price to 140 dollars for 1 thousand cubic metres.
Furthermore, a linear (common) income tax rate of 12% is budgeted.
