Participant of “case of 14” Alyaksandr Barazenka is detained
A youth activist Alyaksandr Barazenka was arrested right after the Freedom Day action in Minsk. Policemen accompanied by criminal inspector Kisel entered the guy’s flat on March 25 at 10 p.m. They claimed that the opposition member had violated the terms of his sentence and arrested him.
The opposition member was brought to Frunzenski District Department of the Interior. In the opinion of his lawyer Pavel Sapelka, Berazenka will probably be warned. It will be the second warning pronounced for the last three days. The third warning will result in another punishment – imprisonment.
Let us remind you that inspector Kisel beat Alyaksandr Berazenka who arrived to the police for a regular check-up two days ago. He also pronounced an unfair warning to him. Furthermore, the inspector changed the schedule of check-ups so that the guy would not be able to stay in his current job.
Alyaksandr Berazenka took part in a peaceful demonstration of entrepreneurs at the end of 2008 and was sentenced to 12 months of restriction of liberty for it. The protest action was organized on January 10, 2008, reminds “Charter-97”.
