Pensioner disappears on pay-day in Zhlobin District
Policemen spend almost a day looking for an 80-year-old pensioner in Zhlobin District. She went to collect blueberries in a forest and did not return home.
Neighbours and relatives started worrying in the evening. The police found it suspicious that the woman disappeared on pay-day. Dozens of people were involved in the search operation – foresters and local inhabitants.
However, it turned out that the pensioner was 20 kilometers away from her village. She approached a highway but did not manage to stop a single car in six hours – all of them kept passing by. That is why the aged woman had to walk all the way on foot, reports the STV channel.
