Poland's basketball team eyes Belarusian coach

Belarusian specialist Igar Hryshchuk who currently manages Anwil club can become the head coach of the Polish national team, reports Sports.ru. The 45-year-old Belarusian spent all his playing career with the Polish team Anwil and was granted Polish citizenship in 1998. The contract between the coach and the Polish Basketball Federation is expected to be signed next week. If the Polish national team advances to the Eurobasket-2011 finals, Hryshchuk will remain as Poland's coach by the end of the 2012 Olympic Games.
