Polar research centre created in Belarus
A polar research centre has been created in our country. It will start organizing a Belarusian expedition to Antarctica.
Four Belarusian scientists will set off for an expedition in November. The specialists will study the possibility of creation of a research unit there.
The unit is planned to be built 14 kilometers away from a Russian scientific centre “Molodyozhnaya”.
Scientists say that our own polar research centre and unit will allow us to study the potential of the region and cooperate with international polar organizations.
