Police start criminal case for attack against Akrestsina
Minsk police have started a criminal case for hooliganism in connection with the recent attack of the Infringers Centre of Detention (ICD) situated in Akrestsina Lane. According to BelaPAN, the police were informed about the incident on September 6 at 4.23 a.m. Two strangers threw two petrol bombs at the door of the Infringers Detention Centre and it caught fire. It is not clear whether the attackers have been detained or not. Minsk police refuse to comment on this information at the moment.
It is worth mentioning that the information about the fact that Molotov cocktails had been thrown at the isolation centre in Akrestsina appeared on the Internet with a reference to some anarchic group “Freedom Friends” on September 6. It was reported that the action had been conducted to express solidarity with the seven anarchists detained on suspicion of connection with the attack against the Russian Embassy on August 30.
