Police in Vitsebsk confiscate a dozen of white-red-white flags
About a dozen of white-red-white flags have been collected by the police the the city of Vitsebsk in the past several years. The flags would be routinely hung on the buildings or high landmarks in the city center by Miron, the uncaught local hero.
The latest action took place on February 13 when Miron hang a flag over a five-storey building at the crossing of Kirov and Komsomolskaya Streets in honor of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, a national hero of Belarus. The flag had hung for about an hour before it was added to the collection of the Vitsebsk police, reports Radio Svaboda
