Polish authorities come to agreement with customs officers, protest action is over

The Polish government has managed to come to an agreement with customs officers who protested against low wages. The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk informed about it. According to him, customs officers agreed on the suggestion of the government – their monthly wages will be increased by 500 zlotys (140 euro or 200 dollars) and the legal protection of their profession will be improved, reports “Inetrfax”. Let us remind you that customs officials demanded three times as much.

Donald Tusk noted that “everyone who suffered financial damages caused by the week-long protest action could send a complaint”, and the government would provide a fair trial.
