Pre-election youth activism campaign organized in Homel
Homel youth NGOs and initiatives have formed a coalition called “STUDiO” and are conducting a campaign aimed at stirring young people before the presidential election, informs BelaPAN. According to the press service of the “Homel Democratic Forum” initiative, young activists suggest informing about all violations of electors’ rights on the Internet in their web initiative “Complaint Book: speak up!”.
According to one of the leaders of the coalition “STUDiO” Darya Suvorava, young people will create the conditions needed for impartial perception of the essence of the Belarusian election in the society by publishing violation facts.
The youth coalition “STUDiO” includes activists of such organization as “Young Belarus”, “Homel Democratic Forum” and a number of local civil youth leaders as well as former candidates for deputy seats in local councils.
