Preparation for 100th anniversary of L.Heniyush starts in Zelva

An event dated for the 25th anniversary since the death of a famous Belarusian poetess Larysa Heniyush took place in Zelva. Inhabitants of Zelva and guests from Masty, Vaukavysk and Baranavichy gathered at the cemetery. Flowers were laid on the grave and a white-red-white ribbon was attached to it. The event continued in the house of an artist Yury Kachuk where the present recited the verses of the poetess. 

According to Kachuk, large-scale events dedicated to Larysa Heniyush will take place in Zelva in 2010. The 100th anniversary of the poetess will be celebrated at the time.
