Presidential elections in Belarus can be appointed on December 19

Let us remind you that previously it was expected the date would be announced on the first day of the special session of the Belarusian Parliament. However, this issue was not on the agenda then. According to the Belarusian legislation, Presidential elections should take place no later than on February 7, 2011.

As  it was informed by the European Radio for Belarus, there were indirect signs showing the elections could take place in February 2011.
