Prison officials fail to treat Autukhovich

Lawyer Paval Sapelka complains that the prison administration in the Ivacevichy colony did not meet its obligation to provide medical treatement to Mikalai Autukhovich, reports Radio Svaboda.

"An agreement was reached to bring Autukhovich to a dental surgeon. However, he would never be brought".

Retired officer Uladzimir Asipenka from Vaukavysk, sentenced in the same case with Mikalai Autukhovich, is yet to be released. The prisoner is expected to walk free under the amnesty in late August.
