Pro-government youth squad established in Vaukavysk
A public order youth squad, comprising members of the pro-governmental Belarusian Republican Union of Youth (BRSM), has been registered with the local authorities in Vaukavysk. The squad includes 40 members with their own uniform, arm bands and IDs.
The squad members are reported to have recently joined the police to seize a large shipment of spirit.
Similar patrols appeared in the regional center of Hrodna, with their participants wearing black uniforms and red arm bands, writes Nasha Niva newspaper.
