Prospects of participation of Belarus in “Eastern Partnership” discussed in Tallinn

Belarusian-Estonian negotiations of the Ministries of Foreign Affaires took place in Tallinn on March 5 for the first time in the history of diplomatic relations of the two countries. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the deputy head of the chief European department of the Foreign Ministry Syarhei Malinouski. The Estonian delegation was headed by Klain Kul, director general of the political department of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires. The press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affaires informs that both sides discussed “the agenda of bilateral relations”. A lot of attention was paid to the directions of the political dialogue, interparliamentary contacts, expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation, coordination of the interested institutions and development of the legal base.
