Pyromaniacs set cars on fire in Minsk
Pyromaniacs are believed to have burnt down two civilian vehicles on Dzerzhinski Street in Minsk. Luckily, the fire was put out quickly, otherwise fuel tanks could detonate and damage the nearby building. Komsomolskaya Pravda v Belarusi newspaper writes that the fragments of a plastic bottle, possibly with a liquid fuel, was found on the asphalt. Several witnesses claimed that they saw a man running away from the vehicles several seconds before the blaze.
However, both the police and the emergencies ministry said short cicruit in the wiring could the cause of the fire. Experts are probing the incident.
