Ramanchuk may quit Sidorski commission

Yaraslau Ramanchuk, economist and a member of the United Civic Party, may withdraw from the inter-agency government commission on the country marketing.
The commission was set up by the resolution of Prime Minister Siarhei Sidorski. It is chaired by Yauhen Yeudochanka, a deputy foreign minister of Belarus.

Ramanchuk wrote an open letter to PM Siarhei Sidorski, outlining his stance on how the work of the commission was organized and what was worth being changed.

Ramanchuk: "The plan and the proposals that I made have been ignored by a deputy commission chairman. If Mr Sidorski reckons this is the way it should be, I can't see any sense to be part of this commission".

The expert hopes that the premier or his deputy will eventually try to sort out this situation. Ramanchuk will then be ready to explain what should be done so that "the intellectual product was produced jointly not on behalf of one man only".
